Key Man Watch

Carles Alena: The youngster showed some very nice touches during the first game against Celtic. With Sergi Samper being rumored to be loaned out to Valencia and Arda Turan constantly being linked with a move away from Barca, Alena make his case for getting some minutes in the current Barcelona midfield. Best known for his amazing solo goal against Roma in the UEFA Youth League game, Alena appears to have a bright future ahead and the first steps could be made in this pre-season.

Ahmed Musa: The Nigerian international striker joined on a deal from CSKA Moscow this summer for a club record 16 million euros. The highly rated striker notched 17 goals last season including 4 in Europe and would love to get his first goal for the Foxes against the Blaugrana.

Possible starting xi:

Masip; Sergi Roberto; Marlon; Mascherano; Mathieu; Busquets; Denis; Arda; Messi; Suarez; Munir

Prediction: Leicester City are a bit further along in their pre-season preparations that Barcelona and should welcome the opportunity to rebound following their 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Paris St Germain. Barcelona meanwhile will welcome the opportunity to get some more minutes under their belts for key players. Barcelona 2 Leicester City 2
